Job Description
? Support the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering to build up the mechanical design capability.
? Support the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering to develop systems design standards for mechanical installations like:
? Cabinets and structural installation within the cabin
? External installations like Antennae or cameras including pressure vessel penetration
? Working independently on mechanical designs, taking the structural substantiation and airworthiness requirements into account.
? Selection of equipment, components, materials
? Development of Mechanical Drawings (CAD)
? Preparation of Ground-and Flight-Test-Procedures
? Development of technical as well as safety and certification relevant documentation such like reports, analysis, assessments
? Design light weight cabinets and installations
? Development of engineering standards
Profile
? Candidates should have an Engineering degree or similar qualification.
? Sound practical or design experience would be beneficial
? Computer literate with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point) and CAD software
? Good communication skills in English; German or French in addition will be an advantage.
? Pro-active team player with an object oriented functioning
